Laser Processing

We've broadened our processing capabilities substantially using cutting edge stage-equipped three-dimensional laser processing machinery.

We use these laser processing machines to conduct experiments, research, and development; currently, we are researching manufacturing processes using ceramic as a material.

Even with extremely hard materials such as cemented carbide and ceramic, we are able to perform minute processing without incurring any burden, so etching letters or complex designs into curved surfaces becomes possible.

We are confident in our high degree of precision. Please feel free to consult with us!

Work Table

400mm x 400mm
Load Capacity 45kg

Work Area (Moveable Area)

X-axis 400mm Y-axis 300mm Z-axis 500mm

  • 60 mm3 processing area in one program
  • It is necessary to secure focal length along the Z-axis

Processing System

  • Minute processing via 0.04mm diameter focal processing
  • Lamination processing by depth control in 1 µm units

An angle (5 degrees due to concentration) appears in the processed aspect.

Processing Measurement Error

  • Error within 10µm on the X and Y axes
  • Z-axis error varies depending on the characteristics of the material to be processed (typically within 10µm)

Processing Surface Roughness

  • Compatibility with the material also has an effect. (In case of materials with comparatively good compatibility.)
  • Ra (mean roughness) 0.5-0.6µm
  • Ry (maximum height) 3.6-3.7µm
  • Rz (average roughness at ten points) 3.1-3.2µm

Objects Able to be Processed

  • Cemented Carbide (Final product is better with finer grain)
  • Ceramics (alumina, zirconia, silicon dioxide etc.)
  • Diamond/CBN
  • Tempered Steel (regardless of quality)
  • General Steel Materials
  • Copper, Aluminum etc.
  • Graphite

Objects Not Able to be Processed

  • Glass (transparent to light)
  • Plastic (the object will melt)
  • Gemstones (transparent or will discolor)
